General Service Policies:

General Service Policies apply to any and all services being offered by “The Service Provider” to you, “The Client” from SuperNova Resumes (www.supernovaresumes.com). These terms and conditions also apply to Gift Services purchased for another party.

 

1. No Guarantee Clause: “The Service Provider” is not making any claims or guarantees of interviews or employment based on any services rendered by “The Service Provider” to you, “The Client”.  Services include:

   1. Resume Consultation (via telephone or online meeting, such as Zoom or Google Meeting).

   2. Research.

   3. Resume creation or editing/revision.

   4. Cover letter creation or editing/revision.

   5. LinkedIn profile content creation or editing/revision.

2. General turn-around times to receive the initial draft(s) (after a resume consultation appointment) for any ordered writing service(s) is 3-5 business days.

3. ​Copyright protection:  Any information disseminated through the use of services originating from SUPERNOVARESUMES.COM, such as website content, resume designs, resume samples, etc. are copyright protected.  All rights are reserved by “The Service Provider” and should not be copied, shared or disseminated without written consent from “The Service Provider”.

4. Electronic delivery: “The Service Provider” will electronically deliver (e-deliver) a copy of each draft of a resume, cover letter, and/or LinkedIn profile content with a file name that includes "draft", which indicates the work is in progress.  Once final written approval has been obtained from “The Client” via email, the final copy(ies) will be e-delivered as a PDF and a Word.docx file without the "draft" in the file name, indicating that the final approval has been received from you, “The Client”.

5. Cooperation and consent: It is implied and understood that cooperation and consent to utilize information provided by you, “The Client”, via the resume consultation appointment, previous resume, and/or questionnaire is vital to providing the best writing service for resume(s), cover letter(s), and/or LinkedIn profile content creation/revision.

   • If you, “The Client”, will not provide the necessary requested information, such as the completed questionnaire, a copy of a resume (if you have one), or answers to questions asked during the resume consultation, there is a possibility that “The Service Provider” may not be able to provide the requested writing service. 

   • If lack of cooperation on the part of you, “The Client”, results in insufficient information, hindering the resume, cover letter and/or LinkedIn profile content writing process, you, “The Client”, will still be responsible for payment of the ordered service, and the no refund policy will apply.

6. Resume designs: Each resume design offered as part of the services at SuperNova Resumes (www.supernovaresumes.com) is:

   • Designed to be easily read by potential employers, yet simple and functional for submission through Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Software, so commonly used in the recruitment process today.

   • Designed as a general layout where certain elements within the layout may change based on the skill set, qualifications, education and work history of you, “The Client”.

   • Choice of accent color: 

     • You, “The Client”, must choose one of the resume designs being offered at SuperNova Resumes (www.supernovaresumes.com).

     • Only the designs being offered at SuperNova Resumes (www.supernovaresumes.com) will be available for use in resume creation for you, “The Client”, because the design templates provided by “The Service Provider” are proprietary and copyright protected.  These should not be used without the permission of “The Service Provider”.

   • Once the resume design has been chosen, modifications may be required, but all efforts will be made by “The Service Provider” to maintain the integrity of the design.  However, the individualized documents created for you, “The Client”, may differ somewhat from the design template example based on the data provided by you, "The Client".

7. Revisions/Final copy delivery:  You, “The Client”, will have up to 3 days to approve the initial draft of the resume, cover letter, and/or LinkedIn profile being provided by “The Service Provider” after the initial draft has been prepared.  Once final approval is given by you, “The Client”, in writing via email, the final copy will be e-delivered to you, “The Client”, without the "draft" note in the file name, indicating the final copy status.

Refund and Privacy Policies

Refund and Privacy Policies apply to any and all services being offered to you, “The Client” by “The Service Provider” from SuperNova Resumes (www.supernovaresumes.com).

 

1. Refund policy: There is a no refund policy for purchased orders of writing services.  However, every effort will be made to revise or correct the content of a resume, cover letter and/or LinkedIn profile based on specifics provided by you, “The Client”.  Since providing a “stellar service” is the ultimate goal, “The Service Provider” strives to ensure that your resume, cover letter, and/or LinkedIn profile content meets with your approval.  “The Service Provider” will do the best to revise the document(s) to your satisfaction.   Why no refunds?

   • Since each client receives:

     1. A 1-one-1 appointment with "The Service Provider" as a Resume Consultation.

     2. Up to 3 business days to make revisions after receiving the initial rough drafts to provide edits/revisions and to finalize your documents.

     3. This personalized service is based on time spent doing research, matching job qualifications, conducting a Resume Consultation either by phone or via Zoom/Google Meeting, and formulating the material in writing, which involves time spent that cannot be returned or unspent.  As a result, payment cannot be refunded.

2. Privacy policy: The following information applies to all information provided by you, “The Client”.

   • “The Service Provider” does not share any information provided by “The Client” to any third parties for any purposes, including marketing.

   • If you, “The Client” do not want to receive communications from “The Service Provider”, you “The Client” may decide to opt-out of any newsletter or electronic mailings sent by “The Service Provider”. 

   • “The Service Provider” may choose to use before and/or after copies of edited/corrected, or created resumes, cover letters, and/or LinkedIn profile content commissioned by you, “The Client”, as a sample, in addition to testimonials of you, “The Client”, on the www.supernovaresume.com website, social media and other marketing materials, unless specifically prohibited by you, “The Client”, in writing.  (Note: “The Client” contact information will be removed or blotted out for privacy purposes.)

 

Honesty and Liability Policies

Honesty & Liability Policies apply to any and all services being offered to “The Client” by “The Service Provider” from SuperNova Resumes (www.supernovaresumes.com).

 

1. Truthful and complete:  You, “The Client”, agree that all information you supply to “The Service Provider”, either in writing or verbally, in the process of resume, cover letter, and/or LinkedIn profile content creation/revision is truthful, complete and accurate to your knowledge.

2. Assumption: “The Service Provider” will assume that all information provided by you, “The Client”, is truthful, accurate and complete.

3. Not liable:  You, “The Client”, will not hold “The Service Provider” liable for damages or loss of employment, should you, “The Client”, falsify information or provide misleading or inaccurate information in the creation/revision of a resume, cover letter and/or LinkedIn profile content.

4. Honesty only:  You, “The Client”, understand that “The Service Provider” will not falsify statements, willingly or knowingly provide inaccurate information, or be untruthful during the creation/revision of a resume, cover letter and/or LinkedIn profile content, even at the request of you, “The Client”.

Revisions and Restrictions

Revisions and Restrictions apply to any and all services being offered to you, “The Client” by “The Service Provider” from SuperNova Resumes (www.supernovaresumes.com).  Also, view our best practices document that is now included in our terms and conditions regarding industry-standard practices that "The Service Provider" uses when providing resume writing services. 

 

1. One Page Resume Only:  "The Service Provider" is offering resume writing services that include a 1-page resume only. Resumes are considered a "snapshot" of a candidate's matching qualifications, education, and achievements.

   • Over 90% of 1-page resumes will sufficiently provide information for hiring managers and employers to decide whether you, "The Client", is qualified to be contacted for an interview, or not.

   • Employers are looking for relevant and current job history and experience that covers up to the last 10 years. Instead of including an additional page to the resume, the LinkedIn profile is an excellent platform to provide additional work history, interests, and achievements. 

     • If you, "The Client" is interested in a 2-page resume, there will be an additional $50 fee that will apply and must be paid prior to the initial draft delivery. ​

2. Revisions: You, "The Client", will have the opportunity to review the initial draft of the resume, cover letter, and/or LinkedIn profile content up to 3 days after e-delivery. Any revisions should include corrections of misspellings, inaccurate dates or information, and/or information that clarifies specific details. 

   • There will be NO re-writes for different targeted job roles. ​

     • This means that the resume, cover letter, and/or LinkedIn profile will be created only for the targeted job role for which the services have been paid and rendered. 

     • Should you, "The Client", want to have a resume, cover letter, and/or LinkedIn profile for another job role that was not  part of the scope fo work that was originally commissioned, then an additional purchase will be required before the content will be created.

3. Curriculum Vitae (CV):  “The Service Provider” currently does not provide CV writing services, only resumes, cover letters and/or LinkedIn profile content.

4. Military/Government Resumes:  “The Service Provider” currently does not provide writing services for military or government resumes, cover letters and/or LinkedIn profile content.

   • However, “The Service Provider” does provide writing services to help you, “The Client”, to transition from a military or government resume to a civilian or private sector resume, cover letter and/or LinkedIn profile.

5. Right to Decline:  “The Service Provider” reserves the right to decline to provide services to you, “The Client” for any reason, including, but not limited to the following:

   • Industries:  “The Service Provider” will research unfamiliar industries to match the job description for the target position you, “The Client” is seeking.  However, if at any time, “The Service Provider” is unable to locate sufficient information to adequately complete the order for writing services, “The Service Provider” reserves the right to decline to provide writing services. 

   • Honesty/Lack of Information: “The Service Provider” reserves the right to decline to provide writing services if you, “The Client” will not cooperate to provide adequate, accurate, and honest information in the creation of a resume, cover letter and/or LinkedIn profile content. (If this is the issue, the no refund policy will apply.)

 

Gift Service Policies:

Gift Service Policies apply to any and all services being offered by “The Service Provider” to “The Client” for whom you, "The Purchaser", has purchased writing services as a gift from SuperNova Resumes (www.supernovaresumes.com).

 

1. Gift Services Redeem Window:  After the purchase of Gift Services, the intended party or "The Client" who will redeem the services, has 60 days in which to redeem the services.  This means that if "The Client" has not completed the Resume Questionnaire or the Teen/Young Adult Resume Prep Worksheet, booked the corresponding consultation with "The Service Provider” and provided the required information to complete the writing service that was purchased within 60 days, "The Client" forfeits the Gift Services and there will be no refund issued to "The Client" or "The Purchaser".

2. Gift Redeeming Process:  Once "The Purchaser" has selected and paid for writing services from "The Service Provider", SuperNova Resumes (www.supernovaresumes.com), the process is as follows:

   • The intended party, "The Client" for whom the gift services have been purchased will receive an email that includes the How to Redeem Gift Services Guide with instructions on how to redeem the services.

   • The intended party, "The Client" must complete the Resume Questionnaire or the Teen/Young Adult Resume Prep Worksheet with the required information in order for "The Service Provider" to be in a position to provide the writing services. 

   • The intended party, "The Client" can choose to upgrade services but must pay the difference in the balance due. 

3. All terms and conditions noted above apply to services being purchased by "The Purchaser" to be redeemed by "The Client".​

 

Job Search Coaching Session:

"The Service Provider", SuperNova Resumes (www.supernovaresumes.com) offers a  1-hour or 90-minute Job Search Coaching session by phone or online via Zoom.  This service is designed to allow you, "The Client", to discuss your past work history and future goals, while providing a sounding board, suggestions, and feedback that can help you, "The Client" take your job search to the next level.

1. Restrictions: 

   • "The Service Provider" does not guarantee a job offer or employment after providing a job search coaching session.

   • "The Service Provider" is not a recruiter or staffing service and does NOT provide jobs or job leads. 

   • "The Service Provider" cannot make decisions for you, "The Client", but can provide suggestions and guidance.

   • "The Client" is required to book an online appointment for the Job Search Coaching Session within 2 weeks of purchase or forfeit the appointment and the NO Refund policy will be in effect. 

2. Terms: 

   • Job Search Coaching is a 1-hour or 90-minute session held over the phone or by Zoom  (or Google Meeting) (no in-person meetings). 

   • A Job Search Coaching session can be purchased in conjunction with a resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile writing services., but it is recommended that you, "The Client", purchase this service prior to purchasing any other service to find out how to get the most out of resume writing services and to ensure a better return on the investment. 

   • Job Search Coaching is designed to assist a job candidate , "The Client" with the job search by answering questions, addressing issues with the job search, providing suggestions and resources to assist in making the job search more successful, and discussing how to best benefit from resume writing services.

3. No Liability:  "The Service Provider", SuperNova Resumes (www.supernovaresumes.com), assumes no liability for the results of "The Client's" job search. "The Service Provider" does NOT guarantee a job interview or a job offer to "The Client".

• There is a NO Refund policy held by "The Service Provider"  SuperNova Resumes (www.supernovaresumes.com) on any service purchased by "The Client" directly or through Gift Services, including Job Search Coaching.​

Job Interview Prep/Coaching Session:

"The Service Provider", SuperNova Resumes (www.supernovaresumes.com) offers a 90-minute Job Interview Prep and Coaching consultation session by phone or online via Zoom.  This 90-minute session includes a mock interview where various levels of job interview questions will be asked and feedback provided on responses (including feedback on body language if the session is conducted on Zoom or Google Meeting).

1. Restrictions: 

   • "The Service Provider" does not guarantee a job offer or employment after providing a job interview and coaching session.

   • "The Service Provider" will not be able to ask every question that could possibly be asked during a job interview. 

   • A Job Interview Prep/Coaching Session will include basic/classic interview questions and other questions related to a candidate's ("The Client's") work history/resume. 

   • "The Client" is required to book an online appointment for the Job Interview Prep/Coaching Session within 2 weeks of purchase or forfeit the appointment and the NO Refund policy will be in effect. 

2. Terms: 

   • Job Interview Prep/Coaching is a 90-minute session held over the phone or by Zoom  (or Google Meeting) (no in-person meetings). 

   • A Job Interview Prep/Coaching session can be purchased in conjunction with resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile writing services. 

   • Job Interview Prep/Coaching is designed to prepare a job candidate, "The Client" for a job interview through a mock interview and feedback provided during the session and in writing, which should help a job seeker feel more prepared and confident for subsequent job interviews. However, it is up to the job seeker ("The Client")  to review the feedback, make adjustments based on the feedback, and do additional research/preparation in response to the feedback provided by "The Service Provider".

3. No Liability:  "The Service Provider", SuperNova Resumes (www.supernovaresumes.com), assumes no liability for the results of "The Client's" job search. "The Service Provider" does NOT guarantee a job interview or a job offer to "The Client".

• There is a NO Refund policy held by "The Service Provider"  SuperNova Resumes (www.supernovaresumes.com) on any service purchased by "The Client" directly or through Gift Services, including Job Interview/Prep.

Pay Later (4-payments Option):

"The Service Provider" offers a Pay Later option, but restrictions apply.  When purchasing services from "The Service Provider", SuperNova Resumes (www.supernovaresumes.com), "The Client" can choose to pay in full at the time of purchase either by credit/debit card or via a PayPal account. "The Client" can also choose to Pay Later or Pay in 4 by making a 25% down payment and then making 3 additional payments every 2 weeks until the balance due on services has been paid in full.

 

1. Restrictions: 

   • The Pay Later option may also be referred to as the "Pay in 4".

   • The Pay Later option may not be available in all states.

   • There may be a soft credit check that should not negatively impact the credit score of "The Client", but this cannot be guaranteed by "The Service Provider". 

   • "The Client" must sign up for a free PayPal account.

   • "The Client" must choose "Pay Later" during the checkout process when purchasing services from "The Service Provider" through the Payment button on the SuperNova Resumes website.

2. Terms: 

   • Although services are rendered by "The Service Provider", the payment plan agreement is not with "The Service Provider", but is being made with PayPal. ​

   • A 25% downpayment is required during the initial transaction.

   • "The Client" should read the fine print of the terms for the Pay in 4 or Pay Later option supplied by PayPal prior to/before agreeing to those terms. 

   • The terms listed here for the Pay Later payment plan are only for reference. See the official terms during sign-up with PayPal to read ALL of the terms, conditions, and restrictions that may apply. 

3. No Liability:  "The Service Provider", SuperNova Resumes (www.supernovaresumes.com), will not be held liable for any arrangement or commitment "The Client" makes with PayPal or any other third-party.

   • The NO Refund policy held by "The Service Provider" is still in effect even if "The Client" chooses to use the Pay Later or Pay in 4 option to pay for services rendered through "The Service Provider", SuperNova Resumes (www.supernovaresumes.com).​

Resume Review Terms:

"The Service Provider" offers "The Client" a 30-minute consultation and resume review either over the phone or by Zoom for a fee. This expert review will include written feedback and suggestions for improvement.  

• Reviews are for resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles -- not CVs. If "The Client" wants a CV reviewed, the feedback will help "The Client" turn the CV into a resume. 

• "The Client" can choose to make the changes or purchase resume writing services.

• "The Client" can choose to have a consultation without a resume.

• There are no refunds for this service.

• If "The Client" misses a consultation appointment, "The Client" is allowed to reschedule 1 time. It is the responsibility of "The Client" to make a convenient appointment and keep it. 

  • There are no refunds for missed appointments. ​
